My Temperature Gauge Stopped Working. Don't do this for an extended period of time, just long enough to see the gauge operate. But once i stop the car and shut it down, they spring to life.literally.

To verify if the sensor is what's causing the problem, disconnect the connecter from the coolant temp sensor, and jump a paper clip across the terminals. Disconnected battery for a few minutes and reconnected and the temperature gage is working and the a/c appears to be working. (we have not yet replaced the egr valve).

The biggest reason i wanted this gauge is because my stock water temp. The power windows, fuel gauge, engine temperature gauge, and climate control all stop working simultaneously (which is right when the car starts, they have never stopped working during operation of the vehicle).

My fan comes on as soon as i start my car, even tho it's cold outside. If i shut it off for 30 seconds or so.

Next the temperature gage was not working. Changed the temp sensor but i did break off a piece of the connector. You can have broken wires leading from the gauge itself to the sensor or wires from the sensor to the engine control unit.

Hello All, My 2014 Will Be At Normal Operating Temperature And Occasionally The Temperature Gauge Will Drop To The Bottom Of The Scale And The Fans Turn On And Then The Ac Will Stop Blowing Cold Air.

Don't do this for an extended period of time, just long enough to see the gauge operate. Incorrect temperature gauge indication check for correct instrument cluster operation disconnect all the instrument cluster connectors. It will help isolate the problem.

It would occasionally work, then stop working. Of course everytime it stops working the engine goes into safe mode and the fans come on and the a/c will not work. So, recently i've installed an autometer water temp gauge.
